Cities, Towns and Counties and the Southern Obesity Prevention Strategy have joined together to bring you an opportunity to learn how Mayors and school officials are joining together across the south to combat obesity. Mayor Jerry Gist of Jackson, Tennessee, Mayor Jack Reed of Tupelo, Mississippi and Dr. Brian Gottardy, Superintendent from North East ISD in San Antonio will share their insights and their successes. Leon Andrews, Senior Fellow for the National League of Cities and key leader for Let’s Move! Cities, Towns and Counties will facilitate. This webinar is being hosted in partnership with Texas Health Institute and Action for Healthy Kids as part of the Southern Obesity Prevention Strategy.
